Field-Work
Field-Work is the mobile companion to the RCA application. It's built for people doing the work on site — running a root-cause analysis from a phone, in a plant or in the field, often with a poor connection or none at all.
What you can do
- Run your RCAs — create Level 1 and Level 2 analyses, work through the 5-Why investigation, identify and summarize the root cause, and complete or submit for review.
- Work your action items — see what's assigned to you, add notes and evidence, and submit for approval.
- Keep working offline — Field-Work stores your work on the device and syncs it when you're back in range.
Field-Work vs the RCA desktop app
Both apps talk to the same system: an RCA you create on your phone is the same RCA your colleagues see on the desktop. They're built for different moments.

Field-Work deliberately shows you your own work — the RCAs and action items you're involved in. For the full picture across a site, dashboards, and anything administrative, use the RCA desktop app.
Add it to your home screen
Field-Work isn't in the app stores — you open it in your mobile browser. But you can add it to your home screen so it opens full-screen like a normal app, which is the recommended way to use it in the field. See Getting started.
